Kootenay Con 2025

Sign-ups will be processed on a first-come-first served basis for ticket holders, volunteers and event hosts - if the game is full we will do our best to mark that on the form and start a waitlist with other interested folks. That being said, please only sign up for games that you are prepared to attend! Any open seats left in games will be able to be claimed at the staff desk in person once the convention has started.  Game info can be found online using  Board Game Geek . Wow - 130 games are coming to the Con! Library games are on loan from local game enthusiasts and Kootenay Pop Up Game Cafe in Creston. Some games will be removed from the library periodically and be used in scheduled learn to play events. Is there a game you love and could teach to others? Gaming conventions are great places to try out new games and meet new people to play games with! The venue will be organized into a vendor market and areas to play different categories of tabletop games.  This year Kootenay Con will feature areas for Board Games, Role Playing Games (RPGs) (like Dungeons and Dragons), miniature battle games (like Warhammer) and  collectible card games (like Magic the Gathering).  Throughout the weekend, there will be game hosts at designated tables ready to teach groups of people how to play specific games, as well as a large free play area where you can play any game you bring from home or borrow from the board game library.
